Knight Solo reads a website the way a strategist would and shows you the few things worth fixing first — with the evidence behind each one. Here’s how to get the most out of it.
Enter any website address on the home page. In about a minute you’ll get a shareable report with an overall growth score, a category breakdown, and your top priorities — no account required. This is the snapshot agencies run live on a prospect’s site.
Findings are grouped into Fix first, Do next, and Later, ranked by impact, confidence, and effort. Each one separates what we observed (a verifiable fact on the page) from what we inferred (what it likely means) and what we recommend — and cites the exact page and element as evidence, so you can check it yourself.
Sign in with an email link or Google to unlock full audits: more pages per crawl, every finding (not just the top priorities), reports saved to your account, and the Search Console overlay. Your dashboard shows how many audits you have left this month and your page limit — both set by your plan.
This is the highest-value part of the product. Once connected, each full audit adds a Search opportunities section built from your real search data: the queries where you rank #8–20 (a small push wins page one) and the pages that rank well but lose clicks to a weak title or description.
The website you audit must be a property in the Google Search Console account you connect — either you verified it, or its owner added your Google account as a user. If it isn’t, the audit still runs; it just won’t include this section.
To connect, open your dashboard and choose Connect Search Console. Access is read-only, the token is stored encrypted, and you can disconnect anytime. Search Console data lags about 2–3 days, and a newly verified site needs time to collect enough data to surface opportunities.
Auditing a client’s site? Either have the client add your Google account as a user on their Search Console property, or connect the client’s own Google account.
Every account has a referral link and an email-invite tool on the dashboard. When someone subscribes through your link, you earn a commission — tracked automatically and shown as pending, then approved after a short hold, then paid. Refunds reverse it.
Turn on agency features to put your own logo, color, and footer on the reports you share, and to remove platform branding. You also get a client onboarding link: anyone who signs up through it becomes your client, and you earn an ongoing fee split on their subscription. Your clients and earnings appear on the dashboard.
No — every audit runs on a live crawl of your pages and works without any connection. Search Console is optional, but connecting it unlocks the “Search opportunities” section, which is the most valuable part of the report.
Yes. The Search opportunities section only appears when the site you audit is a property the connected Google account can access — either you verified it, or its owner added your account as a user. If it isn’t, the audit still completes; it just omits that section.
Usually one of three reasons: the audited domain isn’t a property in the connected account; the site is newly verified and hasn’t collected enough data yet; or there simply aren’t queries in the striking-distance or low-CTR range this period. Search Console data also lags roughly 2–3 days.
Read-only access to your search performance data (the webmasters.readonly scope). Knight Solo never changes anything in your Search Console or your site, and the connection can be removed anytime from the dashboard. The stored token is encrypted at rest.
The free audit is an instant, no-login snapshot: your score, category breakdown, and top “Fix first” priorities, on a handful of pages, shareable by link. A full audit requires a free account, covers more pages, shows every finding, is saved to your account, and includes the Search Console overlay when connected.
It depends on your plan — your dashboard shows how many full audits you have left this month and the page limit per audit. The free demo has its own light limit and needs no account.
No. Knight Solo is a decision-support tool. Every finding cites the evidence behind it so you can verify it yourself, but we don’t promise specific rankings, traffic, or revenue — anyone who does is guessing.
Yes, on agency accounts. Enable agency features on the dashboard to set your logo, color, and footer, and to remove platform branding from the reports you share with clients.
